CENTRAL BANK OF IRAQ NEW HQ BUILDING Baghdad, Iraq Date: 2012 - 2014 Client: Central Bank of Iraq Consultant: Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA), London, UK The CBI building is 36-story was prepared by ZHA, the building comply with the BREEAM requirements. Dijlah role was as the architect of record and local representative of ZHA in Iraq. Representative of both Maz Fordham LLP and AKT II, Ltd. under the banner of ZHA. We're also sharing design ideas, solving major issues in design, following-up and obtaining statutory approvals.	BUILDING DEPARTMENT OF TRAINING Basra, Iraq Date: 2013 Client: Ministry of Electricity/Department of Training and Development in Basra Summed up the idea of the project by analyzing the pattern role of the complex, which was borrowed the idea of strength and mind and that is to combine the practical side, which requires high effort for the trainee, and the theoretical theme represents the readable aspects, where the concentrated power in the metaphor form (SPANNER)	BUILDING DEPARTMENT OF TRAINING Basra, Iraq Date: 2013 Client: Ministry of Electricity/Department of Training and Development in Basra The idea of the project in general, of the use of certain vocabulary and formal elements of the heritage of Basra architecture, which is a tributary vital that cannot do without it, being a heritage rooted for centuries, through the idea of squares of moderation, which overlooks the spaces of four points and the presence of trees.
MINISTRY OF YOUTH proposal 2 Baghdad, Iraq Date: 2010 Client: Ministry of Youth and Sport Budget: US$ 70 M There are two proposals for the Youth and Sport Building. The new Ministry of Youth and Sport HQ is to be located on a very distinguished site – on an artificial lake near The Olympic Committee Building. It is composed of 14 floors with a stylish glass look. The site is almost circular in shape with water all around it. OLYMPIC COMMITTEE-PROPOSALS Baghdad, Iraq Date: 2010 Client: Iraqi National Olympic Committee Two proposals are being considered. DIJLAH has submitted Schematic Conceptual Design for these proposals that were submitted for the Olympic Committee Building. The National Olympic Committee of Iraq (NOCI) is the National Olympic Committee (NOC) for Iraq. The Olympic Committee Building is composed of 14 floors with a stylish glass look.	TALLIL MILITARY BASE Nasiriya, Iraq Date: 2004 Client: Iraqi Government Budget: US$ 40 M Tallil Airbase is located approximately 310 Kilometres Southeast of Baghdad and 20 kilometres Southwest of the City of Nasiriya. The airfield is served by two main runways measuring 12,000 ft. and 9,700 ft. It was heavily damaged in the first Gulf War, but since has been greatly rebuilt by the US army. Dijlah prepared all the necessary drawings and documents for the design.	NAJAF GOVERNOR COUNCIL BUILDING, Najaf, Iraq Date: 2010 Client: Najaf Governorate Council Budget: US$ 28 M The design reflects the classical attitude in architecture for official buildings.
MAYSAN COURT Amarah, Iraq. Date: 2012 Client: Maysan Governorate Council This project is considered as a mega structure in the Southern City of Amarah. It is composed of the main court building along with other facilities like a 500-seat hall, service blocks and other amenities.	UNIVERSITY OF KIRKUK STORES, Kirkuk, Iraq Date: 2014 Duration: 3 months Construction Budget: 620,000 USD (MEP works) Client: University of Kirkuk Beneficiary: University of Kirkuk Awarding body: University of Kirkuk Awarded body: Dijlah JV with Hawry Al-Talabani office Dijlah in joint venture with Hawry Al-Talabani office prepared the complete designs of electro-mechanical and sanitary services for the university stores in addition to stores administration services. The total site area is around 7,570 m².	AL-NUAMANIYA MILITARY BASE, Wasit, Iraq Date: 2004 Duration: 6 months Construction Budget: 100 M USD Client: US Corps for rebuilding Beneficiary: Ministry of Defense Awarding body: US ACE Awarded body: Al-Nukhaila Company Dijlah in joint venture with Al-Nukhaila Company redesigned and supervised the execution of the rehabilitation of Al-Nuamaniya military camp.
DORMITORIES OF OIL TRAINING INSTITUTE, Kirkuk, Iraq Date: 2014 Duration: 4 months Construction Budget: 9.1 M USD Client: Oil Training Institute / Kirkuk Beneficiary: Oil Training Institute / Kirkuk Awarding body: Oil Training Institute / Kirkuk Awarded body: Dijlah Consulting Engineers Dijlah prepared complete designs for the dormitories complex of the oil training institute in Kirkuk. The complex site area is about 21,000 m² and contains the dormitories building, kindergarten, guest house, guard house, small sport yard, and service buildings.	BANK BUILDING, Duhok, Iraq Date: 2006 Duration: 2 months Construction Budget: 2.6 M USD Client: Future Building Company Beneficiary: Future Building Company Awarding body: Future Building Company Awarded body: Dijlah Consulting Engineers Dijlah prepared all the necessary drawings and documents for bank-office building in Duhok city, it is a high-rise building that is distinguished with its modern and stylish design which is based on using glass and curtain wall with modular divisions for mullions.	MAYSAN Governorate HQ, Maysan, Iraq Date: 2008 Duration: 6 months Construction Budget: (Proposal only) Client: Maysan Governorate Beneficiary: Maysan Governorate Awarding body: Maysan Governorate Awarded body: (Proposal only) Dijlah prepared the preliminary designs for Maysan Governorate HQ building for submission as design proposal according to direct invitation letter to Dijlah.
BABIL GOVERNORATE BUILDING-PROPOSAL, Babil, Iraq Date: 2010 Construction Budget: 19 M USD Client: Babil Governorate Council Beneficiary: Babil Governorate Council Awarding body: Babil Governorate Council Awarded body: (Proposal only) The design reflects the application of architectural traditional features in modern forms & techniques & by the implementation of the white & beige colours. The project presented with the foreign consultant Company Hoops + Hilgendorff Building Solutions, we were AlKhadraa Motaheda Contracting Co. consultant body.	AL-MUTANABBY LIBRARY IN BAGHDAD, Iraq Date: 2012 Duration: (Proposal Only) Construction Budget: 2.5 M USD Client: Tareeq Al-Mahaba Contracting Company Beneficiary: Governorate of Baghdad Awarding body: (Proposal Only) Awarded body: (Proposal Only) Dijlah has prepared the architectural schematic conceptual designs for this distinguished and unique library in the City of Baghdad, it was submitted with partner Tareeq Al-Mahaba Contracting Company.	KUWAITI DONATION- 7 SECONDARY SCHOOLS, Iraq Date: 2009 Duration: 2 years Construction Budget: 18.8 M USD Client: Abdul Hadi for Engineering Consultancies office (Kuwait) Beneficiary: Ministry of Education Awarding body: Ministry of Education – Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development Awarded body: Dijlah JV with Abdul Hadi for Engineering Consultancies office (Kuwait) The project included the construction projects of 7 secondary schools in Iraq (Baghdad, Kirkuk, Mosul, Erbil, Anbar, Karbala, and Najaf) funded by the Kuwaiti Donation.
DIRECTORATE OF EDUCATION, Maysan, Iraq Date: 2012 Duration: 6 months Construction Budget: 27 M USD Client: Maysan Governorate Beneficiary: Maysan Governorate Awarding body: Maysan Governorate Awarded body: Dijlah Consulting Engineers Dijlah prepared the complete architectural drawings, electro-mechanical and sanitary and air-conditioning services, in addition to the specifications and bill of quantities. It consists of 11 stories and a parking in basement for 85 cars, kindergarten, services buildings, and green areas.
