Balad, Iraq Date: 2009 Client: Al-Wakf Al-Shi'i Budget: US$ 17 M Sayed Muhammed bin Al-Imam Ali Al-Hadi (AS) Holy Shrine. Dijlah prepared the complete Arch., Str., and MEP designs. It is situated in the south suburban of Balad, a small town in the province of Salah-Al-Deen. Currently, this Shrine is famous for having the largest Sahan (the open yard around the shrine) among all the holy shrines in Iraq.

Karbala, Iraq Date: 2010 Client: Holy Shiite Shrine of Iraq Budget: US $ 4.5 M It was a competition to design stage two of the project of Al-Hurr Al-Riyahi facilities that is composed of a multi-purpose hall, a hospitality space, an administration, a prayer hall, toilets, a religious sciences school, a library and an internet cafe, in addition to other services. We won the first prize, and currently we are working on the detailed design drawing.

Najaf, Iraq Date: 2010 Client: Holy AlAtaba AlAlawiya Budget:$ 6.5 M The project has a service function type for the Imam Ali (A.S.) Holy shrine which connects the shrine by tunnel in two levels underground. This project provides services for the visitors like multi toilet & bathroom levels, bedrooms, halls for prayers and foods...etc.

Najaf, Iraq Date: 2009 Client: Sayed Mohammad Saeed Al-Hakim Office Budget: US$ 8.5 M This school is a 12- stories building that contains lecture halls, scholar residence, prayer halls, cafeteria, and other facilities. Concept is based on using architectural element that are manifestations of the Islamic heritage that is well known in the sacred City of Najaf.

Hilla, Iraq Date: 2009 Client: Al-Wakf Al-Shi'i. Budget: 87 M IQD- (Design Cost) This shrine is located 7 Kilometres to the south of the City of Hilla, 100 kilometres South of Baghdad. It is situated on a hill and surrounded by palm trees. Since its first construction (after discovering the tomb of Bakr bin Ali (AS) in the early ninetieth century) it was neglected regarding maintaining the main building and its surroundings.

Amarah, Iraq Date: 2010 Client: Maysan Governorate Council Budget: US$ 2.3M This proposal for a Mosque (prayer hall) in Maysan Governorate. It is unique structure, yields a large prayer hall that can easily accommodate up to 100 people for Friday Prayers.

Date: 2009-2010 Client: Holy AlAtaba AlAlawiya Budget: US$ 900 M (construction cost) Imam Ali (AS) Holy Shrine, Najaf, Iraq. Dijlah tasks were checking and auditing of MEP of the extension project of Imam Ali (AS) Holy Shrine with its Sahan (the open yard around the Shrine).

Najaf, Iraq Date: 2005-2006 Client: Private Sector Budget: US$ This is a mosque that has an octagonal shape in plan with a minaret that is attached to the main building of mosque. We employed the blue color in our design in order to emphasize the color of sky and its reflection to the sea that are manifestations for what God creates. So, we used this as a philosophy for design.
